Collection Description The volume contains an inventory of the estate of Johnson Ward, a carpenter from Newark, made in 1832. The inventory provides a detailed list of possessions, including carts and wagons, tools, barrels, horses and other livestock. Also included is a list of items to be sold at an auction of carpenter's tools belonging to J. Ward in 1833 and miscellaneous notes on Ward's financial transactions and on his estate.
